What is the dust removal principle of bag filter

The bag filter is composed of a blower, a main body, a dust conveying system, a PLC dust removal control system, etc. The bag filter is protected by a box made of carbon steel plate or stainless steel plate (the specific material depends on the working environment) welded together to protect the working components such as the dust bag and dust removal skeleton inside. A flange plate is added to the bottom of the vacuum cleaner, and dust is removed on site at the top of the space warehouse and equipment in the material warehouse, making it easy to collect dust.

When the bag filter starts running, the new filter bag has no dust. After running for a few minutes, a thin dust film forms on the surface of the filter bag. Due to the fact that the filter bag is woven from fibers. Therefore, before the formation of the dust layer, the bridging phenomenon of dust between fibers gradually forms due to diffusion and other effects. The fiber diameter of bag filter bags in bag dust collectors is generally 20-100 μ m, while the fiber diameter of needle punched felt is mostly 10-20 μ m. The distance between the fibers of bag filter is mostly 10-30 μ m, which is prone to bridging phenomenon. The 0.3-0.5mm dust layer after the completion of the bridge phenomenon is often referred to as a dust film or a primary dust layer. The dust that accumulates again on a dust layer is called a secondary dust layer.

Meanwhile, the dust removal efficiency of plain weave fabric filter cloth itself is 85% -90%, which is relatively low. However, when dust accumulates on the surface of the filter cloth of a single bag vacuum cleaner, a high removal efficiency of over 99.5% can be achieved. Therefore, after dust removal, a dust layer with a thickness of 0.3-0.5mm must remain on the surface of the filter cloth to prevent a decrease in dust removal efficiency. The problem is how to completely retain the first layer of dust and only remove the second layer of dust during the operation of the vacuum cleaner. This is a technical issue and a handling experience for the design and manufacturing of pulse vacuum cleaners.
